• That card's EV is negative in this build — why are you even running it

That card's EV is negative in this build configuration — WHY is it in the deck??

Using the database values: that support card buffs +45 attack, lasting 2 turns. But your main attacker only activates under the opponent's debuff state — the buff window and your activation window don't overlap. You're spending a resource to produce zero incremental damage.

Correct swap: the +DEF defensive card. Survive the opponent's attack wave first, then deploy your high-cost finisher for the comeback. Current build is burning resources inefficiently. This needs to be fixed before the next ranked match.

  • EV framework for card evaluation is something I'm trying to learn. The floor/ceiling/interactability three-factor model makes it more concrete than other explanations I've read.

  • The interactability metric is the one most new players skip. A card that can be countered by commonly-played responses is worth less than raw power suggests. Every high-ceiling card has a weakness.
